Prompt Delivery to Your Facility
We deliver medications to your facility. We serve numerous types of facilities, including:
- Assisted Living Facilities
- Hospice Homes
- Supportive Living
Getting medications to your residents in a timely manner is crucial. Extended Pharmacy’s drivers deliver on a regular weekly schedule, Tuesday-Saturday.
We provide next-day delivery of new orders and requested refills. Narcotics are fully secured and require staff signature when accepting controlled Schedule II medications.
Cycle Delivery
We use WebConnect software that allows staff to see when medication was last delivered to your facility. Additionally, we provide a list of delivered cycle medications for staff to verify medication delivery.
14-day ATC cycles are produced and verified by licensed pharmacy technicians and verified by a registered pharmacist 1-2 days prior to being delivered. Delivery is normally received at your community 2-3 days before the next start date.
All orders received by 5:30 pm CST (6:30pm EST) will be processed and sent for the next routine delivery to the community.
Our pharmacy staff will notify your community if there will be a delay in processing and attempt to provide an alternative solution, such as equivalent substitutions, dosage equivalents, or alternate pharmacy availability when available.
After Hours Service
We understand that your residents need care around the clock. Our emergency after-hours service is available to assist your community for urgent, after-hours and weekend assistance that cannot wait until the next routine business day.
